I've got over 15 years work experience in caring for the elderly, Alzheimer's and dementia, stroke patient, learning disabilities, MS, Huntington's disease, muscular dystrophy, ME, working directly with my clients and through agencies. Duties carried out are giving my clients showers and baths washing dressing, cooking, cleaning, taking my client out for activities: which could include doctors, shopping, clubs, day centres, feeding, giving medication. I do lots of driving mainly using their cars. I do lots of moving and handling using various hoist on people that are very delicate, frail and suffers with chronic pain. I do live in, live out, early morning calls in the community for clients.
