I have been working within the health and social care environment for the last 15 years. This has been in a variety of different settings including adult challenging behaviour units, domiciliary care and residential nursing. During this time, I have developed and improved my ability to manage and resolve conflicts, and it forms a central part of my daily activities. I find that my attributes such as being able to communicate effectively, aided by my calm nature aid in conflict resolution. My diverse background in care provision has given me a well-established understanding of basic human needs, both physical and emotional. Additionally, during my career, I have come in to contact with multiple difference professionals and understand how partnership working is essential in providing the best outcome for clients.
