I have been in care since I was 18. I began my care work in 2017 working in an elderly care home for dementia residents. I then progressed to work for the NHS which I joined in 2018. I’m a fully qualified HCA/CSW. I currently work in intensive care and I’m looking to go back into caring but ideally would enjoy working one on one rather than in a home as I feel this would be more enjoyable and give me the chance to get to know the individual better. I want a job that doesn’t feel like work.
