I’m a pro active 56 year old early retired qualified Nurse/ manager with 29 years of NHS experience/ management ... district and specialist nurse background, including care of the elderly. I’m DBS Approved, as I worked for AgeUK on retiring & have an extensive past NHS career. I’m trustworthy, empathetic and have a huge respect and understanding of the older person. I’m a keen older persons advocate, who believes in supporting as much independence as possible, whilst helping individuals needs. I choose to only have a few elderly private clients, who I give dedicated time to, I feel this is more important for building up a trusting ongoing relationship, that results in in an happier outcome & higher standard of care. Currently, I look after for my elderly mum as well, but may have some time in the future available for home support, shopping & companionship etc and if I can help, I will try to accommodate in your situation, offering support & care for your older family member.
