I have been working as a care assistant for nearly 9 years. My main duty is to assist service users to carry out daily living including personal care, to provide daily care both practical and emotional to help them maintain and improve where possible,their independence, individuality and mobility, their dignity and choice. I can carry out everyday tasks for the clients such as shopping, cooking or other domestic duties and also assisting client's general comfort. I have extensive experience of working with clients with dementia and other mental /learning disabilities.I really love my work and especially when I am able to extend clients experiences with day trips and activities.
