I am experienced in working with vulnerable people in various settings and capacities including care assistant, advocate and support worker. Much of my work has been with older people but I also have substantial experience of working with people of all ages with mental health problems and general care needs. Previous clients have included people with dementia, chronic pain conditions (e.g. fibromyalgia), someone recovering from a stroke as well as people with mental health problems. I have experience of providing a wide-range of services including: personal care, meal preparation, companionship, advocacy, accompanying on outings, administering medication, researching services on behalf of others as well as general household/gardening chores. I am happy to discuss other services not already mentioned - I am extremely adaptable and will do my best to manage additional needs whenever possible, developing a personal plan of care to meet your needs.
