I have spent years visiting old people in care homes and for 6 years from 2004 to 2010. I kept an old lady company and sat with her for an hour each night. I would chat with her, and make her light refreshments. If the care company, didn't turn up at night time, I would help the old lady and assist her to bed. I really enjoyed this short time I spent with her and loved chatting with her and hearing all her past history.
