I have worked as a Registered General Nurse for the last 30 years. 20 of which have included working as a University Lecturer teaching nursing students. My clinical areas of work have included areas such as Critical Care, Palliative and End of Life Care, Acute Medicine, Cardiology, Dermatology and Learning Disabilities. I no longer work as a registered nurse as I am looking for opportunities to work flexibly with people to provide individualised care, support and companionship. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share, and a warm and friendly personality. My interests include swimming, attending the cinema and theatre, architecture and museums, travel and reading. Whilst I do not want to live somewhere fulltime I am happy to travel with people, and provide regular or emergency support overnight or at weekends etc.
