While I don't have experience caring for the elderly specifically, from 2011 - 2014 I was the sole carer for my mother following a debilitating stroke. I was in charge of daily physical needs (dressing, bathing, hygiene), as well as medication organization and injections, meals, companionship, errands, cleaning, and physical transfers and monitoring (wheelchair and walker).
