I have been working in the care sector for 5 years, looking after the elderly and vulnerable. For 4 and a half years I was in a nursing home/mental health hospital and I was promoted as a senior carer for 3 of the years. I started self employment as a private carer this year and I enjoy it very much, it makes me happy when I can make someone’s day and make them smile. I have completed my NVQ level 3 in social care to ensure your loved ones are safe and looked after whilst in my care. All my training is currently up to date including online courses and I have completed the care certificate. I am fully insured with full UK driving license and my own vehicle with business insurance. I am a great carer because I am trustworthy and reliable, I have a bubbly and kind personality, I ensure the tasks I need to do is done to 100% (like making nourishing healthy meals, light house work or personal care needs). I am very friendly and enjoy having chats about all sorts of interests and hobbies, I am a great listener and will always ensure your loved ones are happy and comfortable when I am taking care of them. I am confident in what I do and willing to learn new skills.
