I have been working as a nanny daily for the last twenty three years, looking after children from birth upwards. I have experience with most aspects of childcare, from weaning to toilet training, starting nursery and school to helping with reading and homework. I feel that I have a firm but fair attitude towards discipline, no means no but I always have an explanation for why. I’m happy to get stuck in and don’t mind emptying the dishwasher occasionally, picking up some milk or hanging laundry if it needs doing! I feel that I can work effectively with parents and aim give helpful advice where I can. I believe I can provide children with loving, nurturing, and, individually tailored quality care, helping them to grow and develop their own personalities and sense of personal achievement.
