I am a bright, bubbly, hardworking girl who loves working with children. I would say that I have been looking after children since I was little; I used to look after the babies and younger kids during church while the adults were busy. The children trusted me and would come to me if they had any issues or needed help with things. I believe that my desire to work with children began then. I have been volunteering at a playscheme during the summer and Easter holidays for two years not for children aged 4-13. When working there, I lead the sporting and physical activities for the children. These activities range from playing with the parachute to simply playing musical hoops. As well as this, I choreographed the dances for them to perform to their parents at the end of the play scheme. I love doing this as not only does it keep the children active, they also have fun while doing it. In addition to this, I was an assistant coach for North Yorkshire Netball from October 2019- March 2020. During this role, I worked with girls aged 12-15 and taught them different netball skills that would help to improve their gameplay. Overall, I believe I’d make a good babysitter as I have great work ethic and a passion for looking after children.
