I am an enthusiastic, energetic, and patient individual with two years’ experience working in schools in both educational and pastoral capacities. I love working with children of all ages and bring with me a positive attitude and a warm demeanour. I have experience working in a drama department at a boarding school. I also lived in one of the boarding houses with students, helping them keep their routines, figure out their homework and take them on weekend outings. The most important part of this role, and all childcare roles I have worked in, is making sure children feel safe and comfortable, able to enjoy themselves and able to confidently say if there was something on their mind. This last year I worked in a secondary school coaching students in English. I am now a qualified English mentor through Teach First - so able to help with any homework needs! Additionally, during the pandemic, I was in school looking after children of key workers or vulnerable children. I assisted with online lessons and making sure students were emotionally supported. I am happy to help with various duties including after school pick up, homework, meal preparation and play dates. Looking forward to hearing from you!
