I did my work experience in high school at a local playgroup and I have babysat for my younger cousins as well as taking them out on outings many times in the past. I also worked one day a week as a tutor for a boy last year and helped him achieve a B in his final exam and therefore would be more than happy to help with any homeowork issues or queries if I can. During my final year at high school I also volunteered as part of the Buddies system which involved giving up a couple of lunchtimes a week to help first year pupils who were perhaps struggling to fit into their new environment. As seniors we were aware of how daunting a transition it can be moving from primary to secondary and so we wanted to help make this transition the best it could possibly be for all students. This was a really rewarding role as we saw a great improvement in many students confidence. I like to think I am someone who is kind, caring and approachable and I will always go out of my way to help someone in whatever way I can.
