I worked in a nursery for 4 years and have had experience with children aged a few months old up to 5 years and have experience with children up to the age of 10 years through babysitting. I have been driving for over 2 years. I am DBS checked, paediatric first aid trained, and level 3 qualified in childcare. I was a room leader in the baby room. My role included looking at and recording a child's development alongside the EYFS, doing and planning age appropriate craft activities, preparing some meals, keeping the children clean and the room and toys, doing washing, taking the children out in the fresh air and in the garden and making sure the surroundings are safe. I am looking for permanent full time work and would be happy to do additional babysitting. I have also had some training in child protection and safeguarding through my work at the nursery. I have been doing temporary nanny work including maternity cover and I am enjoying this and would like to find a permanent job, can be flexible. In my nannying role I mainly looked after a 6 year old girl, and did some temporary work with 6 week old twins during this time I learnt baby massage. I can provide references along with referances for sole charge babysitting.
