Growing up in a large family (family of 7) started my interest in looking after children. I have volunteered in my a local kindergarten that I went to school to (Elmfield Rudolf Steiner School) for several months and gained lots of valuable experiences of how to deal with a variety of children's behaviour. Over several summers I managed an arts and crafts group for children from ages 3-10, teaching them how to knit, crochet, weave and paint - we also spent the evenings reading stories over hot cocoa. I have more professional experience working with young people with special educational needs, I worked as a tutor at the glass house college and also worked as a caterer there - so a tasty dinner will never be an issue. I have a full enhanced DBS check.
