I am a new mother looking for an extra source of income. I studies level 3 Childcare for 2 years and finished with a grade of MMM. During my course I worked with children from 6 months up to 8 years in various different placements. I very much enjoyed the course as looking after children is always a rewarding duty. I am first aid trained and are aware of safeguarding regulations, the EYFS and Every child matters. Over the summer I use to help a family friend look after her 3 children ages from newborn, a 4 year old with Autism and a 6 year old. She would be there whilst I looked after the children and she would also leave me alone with them whilst she run some errands. I would take the children out to do some activities like swimming. It was a very hands on role to take on at 17 but I love a challenge and handled it very well. I now have a 3 month old of my own and as much as I enjoy staying at home with him, I am very much struggling with money so am looking for something I will enjoy which is working with children and something that fits around my life with my son.
