I have studied child development and health and social care in school so I am aware of the development needs of children and things like nutritional importance. I have previous experience with children working in a youth club , I would do duties such as, help with homework , cook with the children, make them a meal, play with them, set up safe and enjoyable activities. We would also read, colour, have dance party’s. I also spent 2 year babysitting for a close family friend once or twice a week. I was taking care of 2 children aged 6 and 10. I would collect them from school, do homework, cook, bake with them, take them to swimming/football practice, shower them, put them to bed, read stories, make dens, we had a lot of fun!
