I have worked as a primary school teacher for about a year after I finished university in Portugal (where I come from). I was dealing with kids from 6-10 years of age every day, and my class was about creative and ludic activities. I was meant to show and help the kids to expand their imagination, their emotional intelligence and their relation with the world throughout artistic activities such as music, dancing, theatre, painting, storytelling, games, etc... We also had debates where we talked about the world and I tried to help them grow up to be nice human beings towards each other and nature. I was dealing with 30 kids at the same time in the classroom space, and outside I have babysat two babies. As I was growing up, I was always surrounded by babies or children that I ended up taking care of in an informal way as well.
