Dear Families, My name is Maria. I used to be an au pair/nanny here in UK from 2010 until 2017 when I have started to work full time in a completely different profession. Now I have decided to go back to University and the best thing to do alongside my studies is to return to the childcare world for a couple of years. I am a 30-year-old afro-Italian who now is living in Mill Hill. I speak fluent Italian and I have an advance level of English. I had my first experience with children since I was small, helping my mother while she was at work, to look after my brother (when I did not have school). After, I had other experiences with children outside the family, part time after school, picking them up from school, helping them do homework, giving them dinner, playing with them and some light cleaning.
