I qualified as a childcate practioner and built my career in the childcare and education sector. My experience includes babies and children from birth up to 12 years in private home, nursery and school environments. I am always keen to update and progress my own education and have taken part in regular training including recent Paediatric First Aid. . I have spent 15 years as Director of Operations for two large national private day nursery companies which gave me the rare opportunity to provide purpose built, quality and superbly equipped nurturing environments for children. I also understand the pressures of being a working mum in a demanding role. I have two children of my own and some of my most heart breaking moments were when I had to leave my small baby in someone else’s care. I fully understand how difficult this is and how important it is to have the right person in your home. When you are happy that your child is safe and content it makes it easier to feel happy and thrive at work.
