I have been in childcare since being 16, starting as a volunteer at a summer club straight from school, as well as having experience babysitting younger siblings, and other family members children. I went on do to volunteer in a primary school nursery setting, as well as working at the school as a lunch time organiser, one on one with a child with additional needs. I then went on to do an apprenticeship at a private day nursery, where I achieved my level 2 in childcare, before starting at Kids allowed (voted best nursery this year and previous years) where I have achieved my level 3 and won an award for ‘rising star’ in my first year, and have also babysat some of the children outside of work. I am based in a preschool room working with almost 3 to almost 5 year olds, however I have had experience working with all ages from 0-10, and am confident doing so. I am still working fulltime monday-Friday, however I am looking for evening or weekend babysitting jobs. I have experience working with SEN children, and children with challenging behaviour. I am Millie’s trust First aid trained, CBR checked and have proof of level 3 qualification.
