I have worked with children for over ten years. Starting off babysitting as a teenager, then moving on the teach drama as well as working in a number of residential settings with a range of ages. I hold a Masters in Theatre for Young Audiences as well as Paediatric First Aid Certification and an Enhanced DBS check. I teach drama to 3-19 year olds (across several classes!) as well as providing after school, daytime and evening childcare. Most recently I provided part-time after school care for a 5 year old boy, and also helped looking after his sister (9mo). I was with the family for 18 months, but change in circumstances means they've taken on a full-time nanny. Other experience includes working as a counsellor at a Summer Camp in Connecticut, USA - I was on staff for two years, in the first I provided in loco parentis residential care for a group of 7 boys (age 8-11). For the second year I was a supervising member of staff and was ran a programme of performing arts and cookery activities for ages 5-17. I also have experience working on residential programmes (NCS with Future Foundations and The Challenge) with older children (15-17). These roles were a mixture of pastoral care, leadership and mentorship.
