I have often offered my help during the summer months, even for free with the children of acquaintances to broaden my experience. I had my kindergarten work with two children aged 5 and 6, for about 3 years. I cooked, I took them to school and stayed with them in the after-school waiting for their parents to return. I took care of them even when they were sick and gave them the prescribed medicines, took care of their clothes and tidied their room. I don't have DBS because I read that it would be better if the employer requested it. In case I am available for any certificate.
