I have been working with children for about seven years. I grew up with a younger sibling and realised I loved children at an early age. I started babysitting at a young age, and specifically looked after three children over a few years. I first began to look after them when they were ages 3, 6, and 8. The last time I cared for them was when they were 7, 10, and 12. My role included doing small household chores like laundry and cleaning. I put them to bed and maintained their regular routines. I cooked for them and took them to after-school activities. Our days together were filled with activities like swimming, tennis and football. I have more experience working with younger children, but I am happy to take care of children in their teens too. I am confident in keeping the house running while parents are out, whether that means cleaning, cooking or any other extra tasks that are needed. I love to come up with activities that are centred around crafts and outdoor activities. I love to get kids outdoors and believe that life gets a lot easier the more time children spend outside.
