I have recently completed a level 2 childcare apprenticeship at a Nursery in Bilton. During my time there I completed a pediatric first aid course, safeguarding, food hygiene and in the moment planning (finding activities that are catered to the child’s interests). I have cared for children from ages 6 months to 5 years and have learnt how to create activities for the children to have fun but to also be learning at the same time. I think it is very important to keep to a routine when the children are young so that they have consistency. I am available all day everyday apart from Friday. I am also level 1 qualified as a swimming assistant.
