A hard working and organised 18 year old who has deferred Medical school, and so would love to further my experience in childcare during my gap year. Understanding the importance of childcare means I am motivated to help children become happy, healthy and well behaved. Punctual, responsible and well presented at all times I have no difficulty communicating in a warm, professional manner with adults and children alike. And I look forward to making use of these skills to be the best care provider that I can be for you. With two younger siblings I was responsible for taking them to and from primary school for years, ensuring safety when playing out and shopping/ cooking dinner weekly and as such have grown into a dependable and dedicated babysitter. This being why I was put in charge of babysitting a family friends two boys, 9 and 13 during their 2 month visit to the UK, whenever he was at work. Additionally in Year 9 I volunteered for three months to lead Maths club weekly for bright Year 3's in a nearby primary school, working with fellow students to plan and lead fun game-like activities to keep the children engaged and interactive.
