I am currently studying my 1st year of journalism at Edinburgh Napier. I have kept up with the emense workload and high demand. This proves that I can adapt to challenging situations and push myself further to achieve my goals. This became evident when I passed all of my first term exams. My course involves a lot of team work, which I am not afraid to take the lead in, and make sure everyone is participating in. From public speaking, to interviewing families and members of the public, my course continues to help me build my confidence with others and approach daunting situations in a calm and level headed manor. I never hesitate to help out when I see that it is needed, which is why I volunteer at my local food bank. I have been doing this for a year now, and it means so much to me to help those who are struggling, and provide them with a service in which they will feel comfortable and satisfied. I believe this will help me in many fields of work and my communication skills will help me provide excellent experience for customers.
