I currently work as a housekeeper in Christchurch part time. I am looking to help out a family 1-4 days in the week, where needed. Ideally this would be after school as I work 9-2:30pm. For the past 2 years, I have worked half terms and summer holidays at a holiday camp as a group camp leader. My role entails setting up fun, engaging activities such as Dance, sports and arts and craft activities for primary school-aged children (5-12 years). I provide support for other group leaders as well as the leading of activities independently. I also have a bit of experience with older aged children, as I worked at an independent study group at school during exam periods. This held large responsibility as I helped the students organize and manage their upcoming exams and revision. I can help support children with their homework as I enjoy academics. My previous tutoring/mentoring role gave me the knowledge on how to support, encourage and motivate a child with work the are struggling with. I love reading and getting involved in any sporting/arts and crafts activities.
