Hi there, my name is Jade and I’m 26 and I have worked with children of all ages since I was 18. I started off as an apprentice TA at a school working with special needs students and running after school clubs for mainstream students. I have been head of special needs (SENCO) at a private day nursery and have provided care for all children of pre-school age using a hands-on, imaginative and inclusive approach to activities and learning. I now work for children's social care with care leavers 16-21 which I enjoy but my passion lies with childcare. I am also a qualified swimming teacher, love animals and have a clean driving license. I have gained many qualifications over the years including Makaton, paediatric first aid, safeguarding, autism awareness, moving and handling children with disabilities etc. I am a ver creative and caring person. I love to cook, spend time outdoors and I believe children should be encouraged to explore and learn.
