I gained my childcare and education qualification in 2012 and since then I have gained over 5 and a half years of childcare experience. I have worked with children and babies aged 0-13 years of age. I am currently a nanny to a little girl who's 18 months old I also work part time at a children's activity club in Uckfield 4 days a week. I have a year's experience working with a lovely family with two young children aged 2 and 4 years of age, my main duties included taking the children to and from school/nursery, managing time keepings to take the girls to extra curricular activities such as ballet and gymnastics. I also prepared the children nutritious healthy meals. Working with the parents to provide excellent parent partnership and communication was important. Taking the children on outings to farms, toddler groups, swimming, library's, parks and soft play areas were just some of the days out we attended. I also planned a range of activities for the girls including arts and crafts, messy play, bug hunts, den building and many more exciting and educational opportunities to help the children develop and grow. I have experience of working in nurseries and as a special needs support assistant in a school. I believe chikdrwn thrive on feeling safe and secure, gaining real life experience and given opportunities to grow and develop.
