I am widowed for 24 years which meant I brought my two sons aged 37 and 27 years old mostly on my own. I went to college and studied Btec Nursery Nursing so that I could work while my sons were at school. I have worked as a deputy supervisor in a nursery school. I have also looked after a toddler in her own home aged 9 months to 2.5 years old when she started nursery. I have also looked after French foreign students in my own home. I haven't worked with children for the last 5 years but have 2 grand children now which keep me busy. I love kids and find looking after them very rewarding. I have learnt to treat bad behaviour with positive reinforcement.
