Hi my name is Heather and I live in Causewayhead in Stirling with my husband and adult son. I am a fully qualified experienced early years educator. I qualified in 2006 and have since worked for Stirling Council in 0-5 years settings indicating my passion and enthusiasm in working with and supporting children's development My aim is to provide a good flexible child minding service for families where children feel happy and secure in my care and where parents are confident in leaving their child with me. The children in my care become very much part of the family. I love being around children and we will always be busy. I have dedicated play /children's room where I provide a warm comfortable home from home environment for the children to grow, develop, relax and have fun. I prefer the children to access outdoors in all kinds of weather however if it is unsafe to do so we will be busy inside with planned activities such as games baking, story time, play dough & playing with a wide range of age appropriate toys. I have an enclosed garden where the children can play safely. We regularly visit local parks in the area and visit the library on a weekly basis.. I feel it is Important to work in partnership with parents to provide the best possible care. I will discuss care plan with you which will assist in embedding structure and routine in order to support your child to settle in and feel a sense of belonging. I can assure you of providing healthy nutricious meals and snacks. I have a vast amount of experience having been trained to a high standard by attending ongoing training through Stirling Council. I have certificates in Child Protection, Self Assessment, Continual Professional Development, Positive Behaviour management, Elementary Food Hygiene, Getting it Right for Every Child, Building the Ambition, Curriculum for Excellence, Food hygiene and have lead Nurture groups. I have Certificate in Enhanced Disclosure Scotland and registered with Care Inspectorate and can provide impeccable references. I am available Tues-Thurs from 8-30 am to 6pm. I can possibly cover child care outside these times but it would need to be discussed with parents on an individual basis. I can drop off and collect children at Raploch, Cornton and Bridge of Allan Primary Schoosl and Nursery. I may be able to collect from your home and drop your child off from other nurseries outside Causewayhead.
