I’m a 20 year old student going into my final year of studies, and I’ve been working in childcare for 6 years now! I have consistent experience with children’s aged 5 months to 13 years old, both through official childcare services and families in my neighbourhood. I come from a big family so I really enjoy looking after siblings or groups of children, making me well versed in busy and chaotic situations! I've found that children respond really well to having someone young looking after them, and I can confidently say I bring energy, fun, and excitement to the role! I am looking to train as an Art Therapist once I graduate and to work mainly with children, so this work is an amazing way for me to get involved with arts and crafts, but also to be really good friends with the children. I think its really important to make sure they’re having a fun time when being looked after by a childminder, but also to ensure they’re being taught how to be respectful, kind and friendly themselves, to make the parenting job just a bit easier! I’m really happy to work both long term jobs and last minute requests, and also to travel to you.
