I have worked with children and families for over 10 years and have a lot of experience. I worked in a private day nursery for a few years working with babies, toddlers and pre school aged children. I then went to university to study BA hons childhood studies. I then went to work abroad with a company called Mark Warner in turkey for a season with children up to the age of 17 in holiday clubs and babysitting services. When returning I went back to the private day nursery and was a room leader with pre school aged children and deputy manager for many years where I gained a lot experience. I also did a lot of babysitting for families within the nursery at the evenings and weekends. I now work along side the health visitors doing groups with children and families and development assessments. I am also a mum to a gorgeous 18 month old and love spending time with him doing lots of activities at home including messy play and getting out doing lots of fun activities. My passion is the outdoors, sensory and messy play. I believe these play a big part in a child’s learning and development.
