I have been babysitting my cousins, aged between 4-7 since they were born and have always helped out at their birthday parties, where there would be about 20 children. On occasion I have also babysat for older children-ages 9-14. For the past academic year I have done work experience in a primary school once a week, working with each year at least once, and then spending the most time with a year one class-who were aged 5-6. I also volunteer as a Rainbows leader. Due to this experience I am able to cook for children, help with school work, supervise and join in on both independent and group play and other carer tasks.
