I am a very friendly, enthusiastic and reliable person who loves to work with children. I hold a current Paediatric First Aid Certificate, DBS, am Ofsted registered and have completed common core skills and knowledge in Childcare and an MNT Level 3 Babycare course, teaching skills such as bathing, sterilising, sleep in babies, feeding/weaning and management of common ailments. I have worked as a nanny and housekeeper for a family with 2 children for the past 19 months and have really enjoyed this role caring for the children- taking them to and from school, helping with homework, taking them to extra-curricular activities (including during school holidays) and preparing meals for them, and in housekeeping duties. I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and have gained a lot from this role. I previously completed work experience in an Infant School with children between ages of 4 and 6 years - This gave me the opportunity to learn how to care for children in school, helping them with classroom activities and helping them with lunches and playtime. I really enjoyed this and took well to the position. Having studied and worked as a chef, I am more than happy to perform any cooking duties if needed.
