Hi! My name is Effe, I’m 19 & I’m going into my 2nd year of university. I’ve always been very comfortable around children and enjoyed creating a fun and caring environment for them to thrive in. For the past 3 years of my life I’ve helped babysit my cousins children (now aged 1 & 3). Additionally, during this same time frame I have been a Sunday school teacher at my church which involved children from ages 3-14. For tutoring, I did much of that in sixth form as I was hired by my school to tutor my peers. Most recently, I have also been hired by a parent in Greece to tutor their 12-year old son in English literature. I am also in training for a programme to teach underprivileged children in South Africa this coming summer. All in all, I truly enjoy working with children and I hope my enthusiasm has shone through this short paragraph above. For my course I do not have a lot of contact hours so depending on my timetable, I should be quite flexible. I would prefer to focus mainly on after school care or pick up/drop off work as that would be easiest for me. However I’m open for up to 10 - 15 hours a school week and a few house on the week end. For any potential parents, I hope your children will enjoy my company too! :)
