Hello, my name is Beth and I am a qualified Primary teacher living in Glasgow. In my life I have many interests and passions including sport, cooking, photography and travel, however, my life up until now, especially for the past six years has always revolved around working with children and young people. Whether it be in formal classroom settings or fun-filled camp jobs, it can be seen through my choice to study primary teaching and my past six summers at camp that working with children is my key passion in life. After graduating from University in 2018 I undertook my probationary teaching year in Glasgow where I taught a primary 7 class of thirty pupils, this was a job I absolutely loved. I have an excellent knowledge of Scotland's Curriculum for Excellence and implementing this in fun and innovative ways to meet individual students needs. My experience includes: - First class degree in Masters of Arts in Education with a primary teaching qualification - One year formal classroom setting - Primary 7 teacher - Four months experience teaching English as an Additional language at camps in Spain - Six years of Overnight Summer Camp experience in both the USA and UK. - Day camp experience.
