I have graduated with honours from the four-year School of Early Childhood Education of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. During my studies I completed a number of internships at local public schools as part of my curriculum. For the past couple of years I have worked as an au pair for the months of summer, looking after a toddler of an italian family based in the Netherlands. In my experience as a teacher and as an au pair my priority has always been safety. I try to increase the curiosity of the kids by planning activities that will help them develop both motor and cognitive skills. I allow the kids to explore and discover their environment to the extent permitted by the institute/ parents. I am also aiming in the socialisation of the kid as I believe it is important to be surrounded by other kids at similar ages. Last but not least, playing games has a major role in the development of every human so all the activities should have a sense of joy. On a more personal note I am an enthusiastic,happy person, serious,reliable and responsible,who respects boundaries and guidelines.
