I would be suitable for the position because I feel that my acquired skills, experience, and abilities would enable me to improve the quality of life and help achieve various goals of the individuals. More recently, the home has taken service users of a younger age, those coming from child services into adult. However, with all residents, regardless of their age, I have built up a good relationship with the individuals and their families, allowing a better service to be provided. Having helped to look after my younger sister, many of my friend’s children, and service users of the young generation and their families, I feel that I have a natural skill to connect with them. Therefore, I bring out the best of their abilities. I enjoy seeing the individuals thrive on their own achievements and gain pride from their accomplishments.
