Hello! My name is Alice, I’m 22. I have been studying Early Years at Edge Hill Uni for 4 years. I have a level 5 in childcare soon to be level 6. I have worked within a private day nursery for 2 years and have been a nanny for 6 years. From both roles I've cared for children from 0-5 years old including newborn. My nanny responsibilities are, changing, bathing, feeding- breast and bottle educational games and activities both indoor and outdoor. I can keep any routines including; morning and bedtime, I provide domestic cleaning, tidying and cooking. From the nursery I have gained vast experience in all ages from 0-5 especially in depth knowledge of the early years national curriculum- Early Years Statutory Framework (EYFS). Therefore, familiar with the seven areas of learning and importance of hollistic development. I keep the learning environment indoors and outdoors; clean, safe and stimulating for all ages. I observe, assess and plan learning experiences for all ages 0-5. I specialise in the age range 0-1 year old as I have extensive experience from working within the “baby room” and as a nanny. But I am happy to work with any age.
