I am an American-Canadian, college graduate with a medical office assistant certificate. I have one year's experience as a nanny to a family with four boys, ages 2-8. I have two year's experience as a house cleaner. I have successfully completed a course in emergency first responder (CPR/First Aid). In my previous experience as a nanny, my duties included: waking up the children, getting them dressed and ready for school, making breakfast and lunch, taking the older kids to school, and caring for the youngest throughout the day and tidying up the home, and occasionally taking them to their various activities. After school, I would pick up the children, make them a snack, help them with their homework and watch them until their parents returned home from work. Depending on the parents' schedule, I would also prepare the family's dinner. My most memorable experience from my time as a nanny, was the evening walk I would take the children on whenever their parents permitted it. My goal is to create an active, fun and creative structured learning experience for children so they may grow to be adventurous and curious adults with a passion for education.
