Childcare in Malvern Hills

| I have been working with children in the Early Years sector for over 12 years, starting as an assistant and climbing the career ladder to management. During this time, I have had a great deal of experience nannying for a number of different families, here in the UK and during my travels around New Zealand also. I currently work as an Early Years Practitioner at a Nursery. I am responsible for the daily running of the Baby Room within the Nursery. This includes teaching and supervising the children in my care, constructing a weekly timetable, liaising with all parents on a daily basis and managing other members of staff and work experience students. Furthermore, I assess the children’s development through the Nursery Early Years Foundation Stage profiles and plan child and adult-led activities which are suitable and age-related to the children, ensuring that all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum were covered. From the varied childcare experience I have gained over the years, I believe that I have the qualities, the experience and the passion required to carry out the role of a Nanny.

| I am a trainee primary school teacher with a first class degree in special educational needs, disabilities and inclusion. I have had over 10 years experience of working with special educational needs and disabilities in respite care and I have had over 5 years experience working within the education system. Whilst finishing my teacher training I’m looking for part-time work (evenings and weekend) particularly in child care. I’m open to a range of roles due to the experience I have with children, I am happy to simply babysit for parents when needed or provide any educational support such as homework or phonics or reading or participate in activities that will support the child’s development. I do not drive so this is an area that must be considered but I am happy to travel to any area in Malvern and areas in Worcester that are close to the city centre.

| I have over 2 year’s experience in childcare as a nursery assistant as well as personal experience with babies, toddlers and young children. I am extremely reliable, motivated and passionate about what I do, always striving to perform all tasks with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude. I am flexible and adaptable and able to quickly learn new skills and overcome any challenges. I am calm and level headed under pressure and my approachable, bubbly nature allows me to build and maintain strong relationships with the children and their parents right from the start. I would love the opportunity to take on the role of a nanny for your children and will always provide the highest levels of care, something that I personally find extremely rewarding.

| I have had lots of previous experience in baby-sitting and childcare. I worked at day nurseries for over 4 years. I have had a bit of a break, but I am currently doing a degree in Education Studies through The Open University and going back into the childcare system will be great.
