I left my job at the nursery 2 years ago for a career change but I am now looking to get back into it. I worked as a nanny and babysitter for a few years before starting an office job years ago. I love children and I find looking after them an amazing and fulfilling job. I do not have my own children but throughout my life I was often entrusted with friends' and familiy's kids. I believe in kind discipline. I am available on Thursdays and Fridays and will consider each case individually. I have experience in looking after newborns, toddlers, and older children, including those with special needs (autism, ADHD, learning difficulties). I have patience and can communicate with children. I can manage time well if there is any Schedule you need me to follow. I know my priorities when with a child. I have achieved NVQ 3 level in childcare.I have a nursery nurse qualification. I regularly attend courses both in person and on line to maintain my professional development and keep up to date with best practices.
I am approved to offer 2 year old FREE childcare for qualifying children and approved to offer 3 year old FREE childcare and will be offering the new 30 hour offering from September. As part of the nursery I have been tested and checked to high standard in order for the local authority to approve me to provide care to a standard that prepares the children to successfully step up to reception class.
I have many positive references. My parents are happy with the service I provide.

Professionally, I have been working as an English Language tutor for just shy of 3 years (2 years and 10 months), teaching children in China everything from the basic alphabet to discussions on academia. I also worked for a popular Bradford tutoring service during my last year of university.
In my personal life, I am the family babysitter, I've been looking after siblings, cousins, and family friend's children since I was 14 years old. I'm also an 'unofficial' godparent to my friend's little girl.
