Childminders in Swindon

| My name is Bea. I am a newly registered childminder based in Park South Swindon. I’m married and we live in a 2 bedroom house. I am a professional person and like to put the needs of your child first. I provide a happy, safe, clean and nurturing home environment for the children to be in where they can have all the individual attention they need, while encouraging independence and confidence. I would like to think that all the children I care for feel at home, happy, content and part of the family. The service that I provide is based on what I would demand and expect should I be the one seeking childcare for my child. My aims are to be inclusive, understanding and professional and that it is tailored to suit your needs. My working hours are 7am until 6pm. I also have vacancies for drop off to Oaktree Nursery and Primary School and pick up. I have places available for childcare during school holidays.

| It is hard to say how much experience I really have as I grew up in a house hold with a childminder for a mother so I have always been good with kids and helped ALOT with caring for them, It comes very easily to me (so I’ve been told). I’ve also worked in a nursery which was a stop over job whilst I was looking for a beauty therapist job which I was very sad to leave. I was taking care of children between the ages of 6 months to 3 years old depending on the day, during my time here I learnt a lot about child development and what kind of activities would stimulate their learning and how to be compassionate but at the same time as being encouraging of their independence to do activities and tasks.

| I have 8 years experience as a childcarer carer with ages from 3 months to 14 years. I have my own transport with the relevant insurance and approiate car seats . In my free time I enjoy socialising with friends and taking care of my horse. I enjoy the outdoors and walking.

I became a childminder back in 2005 when my first son was born. I decided it would be a great job to have whilst caring for my newborn. I went back to full time employment last year when I decided to go back into childcare to fit around both work and home life more efficiently. Being a childminder is both rewarding and something I'm extremely passionate about, especially since I found it difficult leaving my sons with someone I could trust when they were small. Therefore, it's paramount that I provide a great service to both parents and children whilst in my care.
