Childminders in Barnsley

I have just finished three years at university doing my Early Years Ba degree where I did placements in a range of settings such as childminders, schools and nurseries. I became registered in December 2015.

| Hi, I'm Courtney! I recently became an Ofsted registered childminder based in Kingstone, Barnsley. I am currently a SAHM to my little boys (4 and 2) so have experience with babies, toddlers and school aged children. I love looking after children and my aim is to provide high-qulaity education for pre-school children that aims to get them ready for when they make that transition to big school. One of the main reasons I chose to register as a childminder is because I love finding new ways to encourage my own children to learn and explore through play, it's also sounds a little selfish but I'd love for my youngest to have some company throughout the day now his older brother has started school, in the hopes that being around other children will prepare him a little more for when he starts nursery next year. I try to get out as much as we can especially with having a young toddler myself, this is because young children love exploring new places and I believe that children should enjoy regular outings to experience the freedom they need to explore cooperative play, decision making and risk taking.

| I am a NNEB qualified nursery nurse with over fifteen years experience as well as fourteen years of being a mum. I am currently an ofsted registered childminder and have been minding for 4 years.
