After School Care Lincoln

| I am an outgoing friendly person who is due to start teacher training in September. I am reliable and honest and I like to believe I am very active and energetic. I am seeking a job to fit around my studies. My previous job was working in an out of school club, Madcaps, for children ranging from the ages of 2-12 for over 4 years. I would go everyday after school and after college and take part in many activities with the children like sports, crafts, cooking, etc. I also took a gap year after school and before University where I obtained a job there during the day helping out for children of the ages of 2-5, while we would still be doing fun things with the children I also got to learn how to help children of such a young age begin to learn things before they go to school. I've been a Nanny for the past two years at Uni. For the first year i looked after an 18 month old for long hours during the day while his mother was at work, i have a reference from this particular job. For the second year i was a nanny to three children ranging from the ages of 1-7. I am now back at madcaps for a couple of months until my teacher training begins. For the past year I worked in the nursery here as a key worker.

| I have had experience working for 4 years with children aged 5-11 at an after school cookery club, and a couple of babysitting roles. I can cook and make meals, I am respectful and love looking after children, listening to them as well as teaching them. I have a full driving license and a car.

| Hi there, I'm Jasmin but people call me Jazz, I am 20 years old and qualified college just over 2 years ago gaining a Level 3 in Childcare and Education, going straight into a childminding job after qualifying. I worked for a childminders for a year and after school club for 6 months, working with children from 0-10 years, I then worked in 2 different nurseries in the Lincoln area, gaining more experience with a variety of children, with learning difficulties and complex needs. I am kind and calm, patient and friendly, I like to make sure that the children in my care are getting the best care possible and are comfortable and confident in my presence.

| I grew up with a severely disabled younger brother and was often left to care for him by my parents as they had quite heavy time-consuming jobs. I’ve also had experience looking after children at after school clubs alongside club leaders. I like to think I have a natural affinity with young people and have many child-friendly skills such as playing instruments, origami, cooking and playing games. I’m happy to learn from families as well as young people and adapt to their needs as suited.

| Hi, I’m currently a student at the University of Lincoln studying Drama and Theatre. I have been babysitting for family and friend since 14 (I am now 21) and have experience with before and after school care (including meal prep, homework help, bed times). Further to this I have learnt a lot from my mum who is a childminder, I spent a considerable amount of time during my gap year helping her care for the children she had. I love animals so I am comfortable around pets.

| I am 20 Years old and work with Children 3m/o - 11years old at David Loyd’s Lincoln. We do lots of sport activities including: Tennis, Football, Hockey, Rounders, Running and Dance. We also have lots of fun with Arts and crafts. I am currently studying at Italia Conti doing a 3 year Musical Theatre course. I have experience teaching dance at After school clubs and love to sing Disney and all sorts with the little ones. I am very comfortable with animals and am happy to cook, do little house chores and put the kids to bed if needed.

Before starting University I took a gap year, unfortunately my travel plans were cancelled due to COVID however I invested time in volunteering at my local primary school helping at an after school art club twice weekly. I also have two years babysitting experience with various families which included tasks such as general play with the children, school pick up and drop off (unfortunately I do not have a car at University), taking the children on days out, bedtime routines and cooking meals for the children, as well as assisting with some general house chores.
