After School Care Great Yarmouth

| I am a childcare level 2 which I completed during 2019 and 2020 and passed the course with a Merit. I have 245 hours of experience with reception and year 1 children mainly, but a little with older years and younger ages. I have experience with SEN children. I am a fun, interactive and cheerful person. I am available for pick up and drop off, and time after school. I can also do some half terms.

| Hello, my name is Genna and I live in Great Yarmouth. I’m an easy going person punctual and hard working. I have over 10 years full time childcare experience from nursery work to after school clubs and nanny jobs. I worked at a children’s centre/nursery where I held clubs for children with special needs. I worked 1-1 with children in the nursery to help them learn through play, music and sound. I managed a summer club where parents could leave their children and have a break. We had a scenery room which was good for the children to learn. I also worked part time as a nursery nurse throughout the summer and holidays. I worked as a nanny for 2 children aged 1 and 3 for 2 years where I supported the parents in daily activities and routines. I’m always looking for new challenges and willing to upgrade my qualifications as well as learning new skills. I have my own car and am willing to drive for work. I want to work with children as I feel that I can gain a lot more experience. I have a lot of energy which helps when working with children. I work well and have good communication skills. I’m good at art and love getting involved in all activities with the children to help them learn through play.

| I’ve worked in a school for 12yrs and have looked after a variety of ages starting from 4 yrs to 11yrs starting with breakfast club , lunchtime and after school club, I also worked in the medical room while in the school

| I have worked my entire life with children as a Nanny, teaching assistant, youth worker and health visitor assistant. I trained in home management and family after school and attended many courses since to keep me up to date with child protection, first aid, speech and language, and interventions used in schools. I am in my 50s but still have lots of energy to fulfil my job as well as having an active social life. I love nature walks, arts and craft along with cooking. I am looking for a part time position ideally school times but I can be flexible. I already Nanny for one family 3 days after school so it would be great to be able to continue this whilst working with a new family.
