| Please allow me to introduce myself, I am Lauren from USA. I recently moved to lurgan from London after marrying my husband and having my first child. She is now 17months. I received my Masters at The London Film School for Screenwriting through the University of Warwick England. Before attending my Master's Program, I taught nursery age children (ages 1-6 years) at the Meeting House Child Care Center for 5 years. Additionally, for 4 years, I was a lead teacher for Primary age children (ages 5-12 years) at The Rec Place After-School, both programs are located in Newton, Massachusetts. Throughout my time as a lead teacher, I was responsible for 10 children at a time. I created daily lesson plans that catered to each child s specific needs. Conducted monthly parent-teacher meetings to ensure that each child's progress was being properly met and documented throughout their time within my classroom. Before teaching, I nannied for both private and public families (one being a US Representative from the State of New York) in New York, NY, and Boston, MA.

| I am currently a Deputy manager in an after school club but due to my little girl recently being diagnosed with autism I feel this will be a better fit. I have also been a nanny previously for children ranging from small baby to teenager and I am currently completing a degree in Early Years, Childhood and Youth Studies. I have experience with additional needs

| Experience Day Nurserys (Banbridge and Hillsborough) I worked across various age groups - baby, toddler, preschool, and after-school rooms. Responsibilities included meal times, nappy changes, bottle feeds, and ensuring a safe environment for naps and outdoor walks. I facilitated messy play, tuff trays etc. In the preschool and after-school rooms, I assisted with homework, music time, story time, outdoor play etc. One-to-One Classroom Assistant (2 Primary Schools, Banbridge & Dromore) I assisted a non-verbal child with autism in a P2 class, i used communication techniques (verbal and non verbal). I also attended a school trip with this class to Belfast Zoo where I not only had responsibility over the specific child but a small group of children for the day. In my 2nd role, I supported a child with ADHD and anger management in a P6 class. I accompanied the child to the sensory room for activities that developed motor skills and anger management techniques. | I do not have any formal qualifications in child development, however I do enjoy baby sitting my cousins Ages 2 and 8, and have been told I have a natural flare for looking after kids. I'm able to ensure homeworks are done after school, can prepare meals, organise activities and games for the kids to enjoy, general house keeping, putting the kids to bed etc. Also if there are any pets I am more than happy to feed/walk/bath them as I love animals.
